COMBUDO (Japanese Amateur BUDO-MMA) is an organisation founded in 2000 by martial arts innovator 7th Dan Shihan (Kakuto Karate Jutsu & Kickboxing) Lee Hasdell after returning from Japan from his professional shoot-fighting career, he realised the need for innovation and evolution within the martial arts world which also retains the values often lost in modern combat sport formats.

COMBUDO specialises in modern Japanese mixed martial arts and combat budo sports.

COMBUDO fuses together the ethics, honour and spirituality of traditional budo with the effective application of modern style self defence and combat sports.

COMBUDO stages events from seminars, masterclasses, belt testing to Combat Budo promotions.

COMBUDO networks with many traditional or modern Self Defence, Kickboxing, Ju Jitsu, Karate and MMA schools that use striking (Atemi-waza), throwing (Nage-waza) to submission and groundwork (Ne-waza).
